LOS ANGELES--The Ivy Theatre, a group dedicated to producing the works of lesbian playwrights, will present Shame on the Moon, written by Alicia Madrid and directed by Hope Alexander Willis. The show will run at the Los Angeles Theatre Center beginning July 3.

Drawing on Latino myth, Shame on the Moon is a poetic, romantic and humorous contemporary fable about a lesbian construction worker's response to her girlfriend's pregnancy.

The preview date is July 3. Opening is July 10. The play runs 8 PM Friday and Saturday through August 15. Tickets are $8 for the preview and $15 for regular performances. The Los Angeles Theatre Center is at 514 S. Spring St., downtown Los Angeles. For reservations, call (213) 485-1681.
