LOS ANGELES -- Gene Ross directs Theatre 40's Arms And The Man, opening Nov. 16 for a one-month run. Company members in the George Bernard Shaw comedy include Barbara Barnett, Gavin Glendon, Charles Green, Barbara Keegan, Todd C. Mooney, David Hunt Stafford and Courtney Jo Watson. The play tells the story of the chocolate cream soldier who would rather make love than war. It was the basis for one of the world's most famous operettas, The Chocolate Soldier.
Other Shaw plays include Pygmalion, Mrs. Warren's Profession, Man And Superman and You Never Can Tell.
