News L.A.'s Zeitgeist Theatre Examines Paradox of Authority, Feb. 6-Mar. 7 LOS ANGELES -- The Zeitgeist Theatre Co. presents Port of Authority , three plays exploring the paradox of authority and how it is exercised in different facets of our society.

LOS ANGELES -- The Zeitgeist Theatre Co. presents Port of Authority , three plays exploring the paradox of authority and how it is exercised in different facets of our society.

The first play, The Depot, written and directed by Lucy Lee Flippin, is a tale of a farmer's wife in 1950s Kansas trying to escape her despotic husband.

Terminal, written by John Benjamin Martin and directed by Meg Bowen, is a love story that happens when suicide and murder collide.

Whiskey and Wheaties, written and directed by Drama-Logue columnist Bruce Feld, tells of a voluptuous punk rocker who seeks admission to Harvard.

The actors in Port of Authority include Jen Alexander, Rob Bolton, Gina Bowden, Meg Bowen, Karen Fritsche, Boyd Holister, Ricardo Ibarra-Rivera, Kerry Menchin, Mark Mulligan, Wayne Novak, Steve Phillips, Tony Sirkin, Bob Sutton, Teri Trovao and Alex Ferrer. Port of Authority runs Feb. 6-Mar. 7 at the Rose Alley Theatre, Venice. Performances are Fri.-Sat. at 8 PM; Sun, Feb. 15 and Mar. 1 at 2 PM; and Sun, Feb. 22 at 7 PM.
