What better place to world premiere a play about world weary friends dealing with daily, blue-collar life in Newark, NJ than the 12 Miles West Theatre Company, located in neighboring town, Montclair? A Jersey Cantata, by 12 Miles West resident playwright Bill Mesce, Jr., will end its scheduled run Mar. 14, after starting previews Feb. 19 and opening Feb. 21. (The final performance is sold out.)
Gary Martins directs and also appears in the comedy, which features Gene Cicconne, Richard Biermann, Frank McCormick, Paul O'Conner, Ed Terhune, Adam Mucci and Linda Walsh.
