News Last Chance: Broome's Texarkana Waltzes Out Of L.A. Playhouse, Nov. 15 LOS ANGELES -- Texarkana Waltz , a "revenge tragedy played out in the trailer parks and road-side chapels of Oklahoma," will have its world premiere Oct. 9 at the Los Angeles Playhouse.

LOS ANGELES -- Texarkana Waltz , a "revenge tragedy played out in the trailer parks and road-side chapels of Oklahoma," will have its world premiere Oct. 9 at the Los Angeles Playhouse. Produced by the Circle X Theatre Co., Louis Broome's play "takes us on a journey of redemption through music, memory and the imaginary landscape of the 1880s Wild West," said a company spokesperson. "The Wickett family deals with its violent past and learns to face the most frightening thing of all, love."

Directed by Allison Narver, the play will run through Nov. 15. at 1625 N. La Brea Ave. Tickets are $15. Call (323) 969-9239 ext. 2.
