Canada's 1998 Shaw Festival will draw its curtains this weekend, with all still-running production giving their last performances by Nov. 1. First to shutter at the Niagara-on-the-Lake festival is Lady Windermere's Fan, which ends its run Oct. 31. Meanwhile, shows closing Nov. 1 include Shaw's Major Barbara, Kaufman and Hart's You Can't Take It With You and the new Gershwin-scored musical A Foggy Day. (One show, The Shop at Sly Corner, by Edward Percy, will run through Nov. 29.)
