News   Last Chance: Hello Again Says Goodbye In L.A., July 26 LOS ANGELES -- The much-extended L.A. run of Hello Again will finally say goodbye this weekend, July 26. The show was first scheduled to close June 7, and then June 28.

LOS ANGELES -- The much-extended L.A. run of Hello Again will finally say goodbye this weekend, July 26. The show was first scheduled to close June 7, and then June 28.

Among the cast changes during this final extension, Tony Award nominees Alyson Reed, Marcia Strassman and Susan Egan have left the ensemble, with Jana Robbins, Tami Tappan, Deborah Van Valkenburgh and John Altieri coming in. Robbins' Broadway credits include Crimes of the Heart and Romance/Romance; Tappan appeared in Miss Saigon; Van Valkenburgh was in Tamara and the Broadway revival of Hair.

Michael John LaChiusa's piece is based on Schnitzler's La Ronde . The show opened Apr. 17 at 2nd Stage Theatre in Hollywood. A West Coast premiere, Hello Again is produced by The Blank Theatre Company and directed by Artistic Director Daniel Henning.

Other notables in the cast include Jennifer Leigh Warren, who starred in the original productions of Big River and Little Shop of Horrors ; Richard Kline, who played the lead in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Jeeves ; Paul Anthony Stewart, who played Christian in the Tony Award- nominated Cyrano on Broadway; Steve Girardi, recently in Ragtime at the Shubert Theatre in L.A.; Michael Halpin, who starred with Susan Egan in the stage musical version of State Fair ; and Larry Sullivan, whose credits include the national tour of Miss Saigon .
