Last Chance to see Randall Rapstine and Doug Budin taking their bizarre theatrical journey in Common Knowledge, ending its month-long run at Hollywood's Lillian Theatre, Sept. 29.

Rapstine and Budin impersonate 20 different characters -- ranging from an eight-year-old minimalist playwright to a celebrity-weary Beverly Hills plastic surgeon -- in the two-person show, which opened Aug. 24.

Common Knowledge is a series of interwoven monologues and scenes that bring to life a gallery of quirky characters. Performed in a cabaret setting and told with a minimum amount of special effects, the plays are said to honor the comic tradition of Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner, with "a little Greater Tuna thrown in."

Rapstine recently wrapped "Gepetto" starring Drew Carey for the Walt Disney Company. He is a veteran L.A. stage actor and currently serves as the chair of the Met Theatre Acting Company.

Budin is also connected to the Met Theatre and was in the U.S. premiere of Temptation at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The Lillian Theatre is located at 1086 N. Lillian Way. For tickets and information call (323) 960-8918.
