CHICAGO -- Ah, even a menage a trois has to calm down sometime. Design for Living, Goodman Theatre's spring show, opened May 11 in a staging by David Petrarca (who last spring staged Goodman's revival of Light Up the Sky) and will finish its scheduled run June 6. Noel Coward's 1932 comedy features Ian Barford, Christian Camargo, and Lucinda Faraldo in a witty look at a trio of decadent artists--painter Otto, playwright Leo and interior designer Gilda--who romp through London, Paris and New York in search of true love. Gilda's conventional marriage only makes the beautiful artiste appreciate how much more love she knew when two artists battled for her heart. She will make it happen again.
