News Last Chance: Kirk Bromley's Work Closes L.A. Run May 2 Want's Unwished Work or A Birthday Party, the surreal romantic comedy in verse by Kirk Wood Bromley, will end its Los Angeles run May 2. The play unexpectedly emerged as the biggest hit to date by the Sacred Fools Theatre Company, winning Critic's Choice by the Los Angeles Times and Pick of the Week by L.A. Weekly, and moving from the Sacred Fools Theatre to the Hudson Mainstage Theater, where it began an extended run April 8.

Want's Unwished Work or A Birthday Party, the surreal romantic comedy in verse by Kirk Wood Bromley, will end its Los Angeles run May 2. Weekly, and moving from the Sacred Fools Theatre to the Hudson Mainstage Theater, where it began an extended run April 8. Want's Unwished Work has a cast of 18 and was directed by Alexander Yannis Stephano. The set and costumes are by M.E. Dunn.
