News Last Chance: L.A. Radio to End its Denial w/ Zimbalist & Gould, July 11 Peter Sagal's Denial, about a lawyer defending an anti-Semitic historian who believes the Holocaust never happened, is the latest offering by L.A. Theatre Works' "The Play's The Thing" live radio series, being taped July 7-11 for broadcast later in the year.

Peter Sagal's Denial, about a lawyer defending an anti-Semitic historian who believes the Holocaust never happened, is the latest offering by L.A. Theatre Works' "The Play's The Thing" live radio series, being taped July 7-11 for broadcast later in the year.

Jenny Sullivan directs the drama, which stars Stephanie Zimbalist, of "Remington Steele" fame. Her stage credits include The Tempest at the Mark Taper Forum and The Cherry Orchard at CT's Long Wharf.

Also in the Denial cast are Tim DeKay (Burning Blue in L.A.), David Clennon (TV's "Almost Perfect"), Tony-nominee Kimberly Scott (Joe Turner's Come And Gone), and veterans Harold Gould (Grown Ups) and John Randolph. Other Sagal plays include Real Time, Kim's Sister and America Mall.

Radio performances are taped for broadcast at a later date on KCRW 89.9 FM. The Skirball Cultural Center, site of the tapings, is located at 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd. Seating is limited and reservations are required. For information and tickets call (310) 827-0889.

July 21-25, Sharon Gless will star in Spread Eagle, a "lost" 1927 Broadway melodrama by George S. Brock and Walter Lister dealing with an American business tycoon who orchestrates the U.S. invasion of Mexico.
