Eddie Mekka, best known as Carmine Ragusa from TV's "Laverne and Shirley," finishes his run as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof at Pennsylvania's Bucks County Playhouse July 18. Playhouse regular Penny Larsen co-stars as Golde. Performances began July 7.
Mekka, a TV veteran of "Laverne," "Family Matters," "Guiding Light" and "Sunset Beach," appeared on Broadway in Jumpers, The Magic Show and The Lieutenant. He reprises the role of Tevye, which he has played at the Playhouse in 1993 and 1996.
