After running successfully in the Producer's Club's smaller venue, Lyon Marcus' The Rebirth of Social Acceptance will end its transfer to the larger second theatre Jan. 23. Performances started there Jan. 12. The show's original Producer's Club run began Nov. 23.
A two-character drama, Social Acceptance follows the changing relationships of Ashling Davis, a spirited young woman with quite a few personal problems, as she spills her heart in her therapist's office.
Joseph Brocato directs Tiffany Weigel and Anthony Pisciotta. The design team includes Beau Decker (sets and lighting), Dara Joy (make-up) and Tribeca Artists (sound).
Tickets are $18-$16 and available by calling Smarttix at (212) 532-8887. The Producers Club Theater II is located at 619 9th Avenue.
