Last Chance to catch Theatre in the Square's staging of Martin McDonagh's popular Irish drama, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, ending its scheduled run at the Marietta, GA venue Sept. 26. Performances began Aug. 18. Set in rural Ireland, Beauty Queen is the tale of an aging, manipulative mother and her interference with her daughter's chance at love. Leenane won the 1998 Best Play Award from the Outer Critics Circle, the Drama League and the Drama Desk, in addition to four Tony Awards (Art took the best play Tony, however).
