As reported earlier, for the first time in the 25-year history of its popular "Working in the Theatre" seminar series, ATW is presenting a Special Critics Seminar on Wednesday, Sept. 29.

The panel for ATW's "Special Critics Seminar" comprises New York Post's Clive Barnes, Variety's Charles Isherwood, The New York Times' Peter Marks, New York 1 News' Roma Torre and Newsday's Linda Winer. Panel moderators will be Pia Lindstrom and Harvey Sabinson. ATW chairman Isabelle Stevenson will host.

ATW panels are held over a three-day period every fall and spring. The free seminars, which have evolved into a valuable theatre community resource, are broadcast five times a week by the cable television station of the City University of New York, CUNY-TV (in Manhattan, Channel 75).

The Sept. 29 critics panel is scheduled to run 11 AM-1 PM. Due to limited seating, ATW says that reservations must be made in advance, in writing. Reservations requests should be faxed to (212) 307-1910. -- by Murdoch McBride
