Rose Abdoo, a veteran of Second City and a member of Chicago's Sweat Girls troupe, is not shy when it comes to talking about herself. In fact, her solo show, currently playing at the Sanford Meisner Theatre in Manhattan, is called Get to the Part About Me. The show finishes its scheduled run Feb. 25.

Get to the Part is an autobiographical piece of comedy, in which Abdoo looks at his upbringing in Michigan, her obsession with food and sitcoms, her troubles with math and her adventures while starring in the short-lived CBS comedy "Johnny Bago."

Abdoo -- who is half-Dominican, half-Lebanese -- spent four years at Second City, often playing opposite Chris Farley. Her first one-person show, Who Does She Think She Is?, played in Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit and Fort Lauderdale. Get to the Part marks her New York theatre debut.
