If I Were You is a "modern technological farce," replete with mistaken identities and ulterior motives, where what's happening in the plot depends on who you ask, where you are, and why you want to know.

The piece fits the mission of the company, which involved the exploration of technology as a new means of dramatic narrative. 3-Legged Dog was formed by Kevin Cunningham, Jill Szuchmacher and Taylor. Previous shows include last spring's Yield, a Szuchmacher work. Yield was the first part of a trilogy of meditations on the "de-bordered transnational world."

Completing the cycle will be Human Resources and Wonton Destruction. Yield is scheduled to be presented in fall 1999 at the Thalia Theatre in Hamburg, Germany.
