Chinglish (Broadway at the Lonacre Theatre). Playwright David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly) explores the cultural barriers between America and China—especially linguistic ones—in this new comedy. The play is performed in both English and Mandarin (with English subtitles). Visit Telecharge.

On a Clear Day You Can See Forever (Broadway at the St. James Theatre). This re-imagined version of the 1965 stage musical (and 1970 film with Barbra Streisand) stars Harry Connick, Jr. as a psychiatrist involved in a paranormal love affair. Visit Telecharge. Relatively Speaking (Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre). John Turturro makes his Broadway directing debut with a trio of one-act comedies penned by Woody Allen (Honeymoon Motel), Ethan Coen (Talking Cure) and Elaine May (George Is Dead). Close Up Space (Off-Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club - Stage I). David Hyde Pierce returns to MTC in Close Up Space, a new play about how hard it can be to communicate… in any language. “Paul Barrow is an obsessive book editor on a major deadline. With an assistant who's been camping in the office, a famous author threatening to bail on him and an intern who is no help at all, Paul's just about had it! But when his fiery daughter shows up, Paul faces a glaring personal error that can't be corrected with red ink.” Visit MTC.

Hair (First National Tour). The national tour of the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair will conclude in Cleveland, OH. The national tour, which took its message of peace and free love on the road Oct. 21, 2010, in New Haven, CT, reunited many members of the Broadway revival cast.
