Psycho Therapy (Off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre). The world-premiere comedy by Frank Stausser stars Jeffrey Carlson and Angelica Page. "Lily's fiancée Phillip blows off couples therapy and Dorian, her hot young ex-boyfriend, jumps in to fill the void," according to press notes. Stick Fly (Broadway at the Cort Theatre). Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys with Reuben Cannon and Nelle Nugent produce the Broadway premiere of Stick Fly, the acclaimed play by Lydia R. Diamond, directed by Kenny Leon. "An affluent African-American family confronts issues of race, class, sibling rivalry and parental expectations when their youngest son's fiancée visits them on Martha's Vineyard." Ionescopade (Off-Broadway at the Theatre at St. Peter's). The York Theatre Company's production of Ionescopade is a rarely performed "musical vaudeville" inspired by works of absurdist master playwright Eugene Ionesco. Ionescopade, taken from the works of Ionesco, features music and lyrics by Mildred Kayden and was originally conceived by Robert Allan Ackerman. Visit YorkTheatre.
