London Wall (Off-Broadway at the Mint Theater Company). The American premiere of John Van Druten's romantic drama London Wall features Julia Coffey, Katie Gibson, Matthew Gumley, Jonathan Hogan, Laurie Kennedy, Elise Kibler, Stephen Plunkett, Christopher Sears and Alex Trow. "[The play] explores the tumultuous lives and love affairs of the women employed as shorthand typists in a busy solicitor’s office in 1930’s London," press notes state. "Pat Milligan, a naïve young typist, falls for the charms of a predatory junior lawyer. Watching with concern is the firm’s senior secretary, her too-timid suitor and several others in the office. Tales from Red Vienna (Off-Broadway at New York City Center – Stage I). The world-premiere Manhattan Theatre Club production of Tales from Red Vienna features Tony Award winner Nina Arianda, Tony Award nominee Kathleen Chalfant, Tina Benko, Michael Esper, Michael Goldsmith and Lucas Hall. "Heléna (Arianda) lost her husband in World War I, and with him, her financial security," press notes state. "Struggling to maintain her way of life, she becomes part of an illicit underworld. Heléna manages to separate her secret life from her public persona — that is until she crosses paths with a man who has the power to expose and ruin her." Visit TalesFromRedVienna.com.

The Library (Off-Broadway at The Public Theater). Scott Z. Burns' new drama about violence in America and the narratives shaped in the aftermath of tragedy, The Library, is directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh. Chloë Grace Moretz leads a cast that also features Tamara Tunie, Jennifer Westfeldt, Lili Taylor, Ben Livingston, Michael O’Keefe, Daryl Sabara and David Townsend. Here's how the play is billed: "After Caitlin Gabriel (Moretz) survives a deadly shooting at her high school, she struggles to tell her story to her parents, the authorities and anyone who will listen. But there are other narratives that gain purchase in the media and paint her in a different light. Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh returns to the stage with this bold and chilling world premiere that asks us to examine our relationship to the truth and the lies that claim to heal us." The Great Immensity (Off-Broadway at The Public Theater). The New York premiere of The Civilians' The Great Immensity is written and directed by Steven Cosson. With songs by Michael Friedman, The Great Immensity features Damian Baldet, Cindy Cheung, Dan Domingues, Rebecca Hart, Trey Lyford, Chris Sullivan and Erin Wilhelmi. Here's how the production is billed: "The Great Immensity is a continent-hopping thriller following a woman, Phyllis, as she pursues her husband Karl who disappeared from a tropical island while on an assignment for a nature show. Through her search, Phyllis uncovers a mysterious plot surrounding the upcoming international climate summit in Paris.
