The show is described as such: "It's Christmas Eve and Sarah and Sam are celebrating with an old fashioned New York debate about existential suffering - a special type of foreplay in a new relationship like theirs. But then there is a knock on the door, and Sarah's childhood best friend Nate stands at the threshold. And suddenly suffering becomes a whole lot less sexy. A kaleidoscopic look at one night in New York City that changes the lives of three people forever." For more information, click here.

Concluding Sunday, Sept. 13

Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Broadway at the Belasco Theatre) Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a rock musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask and a book by John Cameron Mitchell. Hedwig "tells the story of an 'internationally ignored' rock singer, Hedwig, and her search for stardom and love. Born a boy named Hansel whose life's dream is to find his other half, Hedwig reluctantly submits to a sex change operation in order to marry an American G.I. and get over the Berlin Wall to freedom. The operation is botched, leaving her with the aforementioned 'angry inch.' Finding herself high, dry and divorced in a Kansas trailer park, she pushes on to form a rock band and encounters a lover/protégé in young 'Tommy Gnosis,' who eventually leaves her, steals her songs and becomes a huge rock star." Neil Patrick Harris created the title role in the musical's Broadway debut; Taye Diggs now stars. For more information, visit HedwigBroadway.com.

The show is "about one woman's quest to answer the mysteries of science and her own life, based on a landmark court case between the Havasupai tribe and the University of Arizona."
