The Legend of Georgia McBride (Off-Broadway at The Lucille Lortel Theatre) The Legend of Georgia McBride is a comedy written by Matthew Lopez. "How can an Elvis impersonator become a winning drag queen in the Florida Panhandle?" ask press notes. "With an empty bank account and a pregnant wife, Casey's going to have to answer that question fast in this music-filled comedy about finding your true voice." Drop Dead Perfect (Off-Broadway at Theatre at St. Clement's) Drop Dead Perfect is a comedy written by Erasmus Finn. The show, according to production notes, "follows Idris Seabright, a wealthy, eccentric mistress of a Key West cottage who runs her estate with a zany flair. When her beloved ward Vivien decides to abandon the Florida Keys to pursue art in Greenwich Village and Idris' lawyer becomes alarmingly interested in her investments, Idris' life begins its outrageous downward spiral. After she receives a visit from a mysterious stranger bearing an undeniable resemblance to her long-lost love, she becomes unhinged and her life erupts into over-the-top comic mayhem."
