News Latest Wizard of Oz Tour, With Songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Casts Its Dorothy, Wizard and Wicked Witch Casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of The Wizard of Oz, featuring additional songs by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The latest incarnation of the tour launches Dec. 1 in Cleveland, OH.

The non-AEA tour will reflect the work of the original creative team, including director Jeremy Sams and choreographer Arlene Phillips.

This incarnation of the MGM classic, which has a score by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, premiered in London in 2011.

Sarah Lasko will star as Dorothy in a cast that also includes Mark A. Harmon as Professor Marvel/The Wizard, Shani Hadjian as the Wicked Witch of the West, Aaron Fried as Lion, Jay McGill as Tin Man, Morgan Reynolds as Scarecrow and Rachel Womble as Glinda.

The creative team also includes Robert Jones (set and costume design), Hugh Vanstone (lighting design), Mick Potter (sound design), Jon Driscoll & Daniel Brodie (video/projection design), David Cullen (orchestrations) and Graham Hurman (musical supervision). Animals will be provided by William Berloni.
