Directed by Ivan Talijancic and co-written with Slovene playwright Simona Semenic, Blind.ness incorporates text, visual and musical elements from pop culture references – including songs by Garbage and P.J. Harvey – to expose the emotional nature of love through absence and yearning, while asking "What transpires when love becomes a four-letter word?" The production runs through Nov. 1. WaxFactory co-founder Erika Latta joins cast members Melody Bates, Gillian Chadsey and Breeda Wool in the multidisciplinary work that integrates audio-visual installation, dance and text.
The design team includes Antonio Giacomin (video design), Minimart (scenic design) and Random Logic of Slovenia (original sound).
