News LATW's A Doll House Will Star Calista Flockhart as Nora Calista Flockhart will star as Nora in the L.A. Theatre Works production of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll House, which will begin performances Sept. 22 on the UCLA campus.

Flockhart ("Brothers & Sisters," "Ally McBeal") will be joined by Gregory Itzin as Krogstad, JoBeth Williams as Mrs. Linde, Tony Abatemarco as Dr. Rank and Jeannie Elias as the Nurse. Casting for the role of Torvald will be announced shortly.

Rosalind Ayres will direct the Sept. 22-25 run of the classic that has been translated by Rolf Fjelde. The production is billed as A Doll House. Performances take place at UCLA's James Bridges Theater.

According to LATW, "Nora Helmer has a delicious secret that saved her husband's life, but if he finds out what she's done, it might destroy their marriage. Blackmail and innocence, love and hypocrisy collide in A Doll House, one of the most celebrated plays in theater history."

All LATW performances are recorded and broadcast on LATW's nationally syndicated radio theatre series, "The Play's the Thing."
