News Laura Benanti and Steven Pasquale Will File for Divorce Tony Award winner Laura Benanti and Drama Desk Award nominee Steven Pasquale, who have been married since September 2007, will file for divorce, the couple confirmed to Playbill.com.

"After almost six years of marriage, Steven Pasquale and Laura Benanti are amicably filing for divorce. They remain loving and committed friends," the couple said in a statement via email.

Benanti took home the Tony Award in 2008 for her performance in Gypsy and was Tony-nominated for her work in Swing!, Into the Woods and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She has also been seen on Broadway in In the Next Room, The Wedding Singer, The Violet Hour, Nine and The Sound of Music. Her television credits include "Go On" and "The Playboy Club," among others.

Pasquale, who was most recently seen in the Off-Broadway musical Far From Heaven, will star in The Bridges of Madison County at Williamstown Theater Festival in August prior to a Broadway engagement in 2014. He has been seen on Broadway in Reasons to Be Pretty and received a Drama Desk nomination for A Man of No Importance. His television credits include "Rescue Me" and "Do No Harm," among others.
