Laura Benanti, who currently stars in the Broadway revival of She Loves Me, has shared a song sample from the soon-to-be-released cast recording of that musical. Produced by Ghostlight Records, the album will be available digitally June 10 and in stores July 8.

Ahead of the album release, Benanti debuted “Vanilla Ice Cream” from the show with Billboard. The song comes at a pivotal moment in the musical, when her character, Amalia Balash, discovers she has true feelings for her co-worker. She Loves Me tells the story of two parfumerie clerks who, unbeknownst to each other, are corresponding romantically. Listen to “Vanilla Ice Cream” here.

She Loves Me is set to play through July 10 at Studio 54. The classic musical comedy began previews February 19 and officially opened March 17. The production, directed by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, stars Benanti, Jane Krakowski, Byron Jennings, Zachary Levi, Gavin Creel and Tom McGowan. Musical direction is by Paul Gemignani; orchestrations are by Larry Hochman, with dance arrangements and incidental music by David Krane.

She Loves Me features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock, based on a play by Miklos Laszlo.
