Benanti, a Tony winner for Gypsy, will join GMCW for the 4 PM concert at the Kennedy Center. Here's how it's billed: "Learn from the best as GMCW teaches you everything you need to know about Broadway musicals with Tony-Award winner Laura Benanti. Experience Broadway’s finest moment through time from Anything Goes and Gypsy to La Cage aux Folles and Kinky Boots."

Last summer, Benanti premiered the Andrew Lippa oratorio I Am Harvey Milk with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus. She will return to join them for Dazzle, celebrating the songs of Broadway, June 25-27.

Benanti's new live album, "In Constant Search of the Right Kind of Attention: Live At 54 Below," was released in September. She earned a 2011 Tony Award nomination for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and was also seen in the recent NBC presentation of The Sound of Music Live! Her numerous stage appearances also include In the Next Room..., Nine, Into the Woods, The Sound of Music, Why Torture Is Wrong and the People Who Love Them and a Tony-nominated performance in Swing!
