News Lauren Blackman, Leo Ash Evens, Joe Dellger, Karen Murphy, Jan Neuberger and More Cast in WBT's Mary Poppins Casting has been announced for the Westchester Broadway Theatre's upcoming production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, which will play the New York venue May 8-July 27.

Directed and choreographed by Richard Stafford, the cast will feature Lauren Blackman as Mary Poppins, Leo Ash Evens as Bert, Joe Dellger as Mr. Banks, Leisa Mathers as Mrs. Banks, Karen Murphy as Mrs. Brill, Peter Cormican as Admiral Bloom, Jan Neuberger as Miss Andrews, Mark Blowers, Sara Brophy, Laura Cable, Mark Donaldson, Maria Logan, Evan Mayer, Maggie McGrath, Kristyn Pope, Matthew Ranaudo, Roger Preston Smith, Matias Stegmann, Karen Webb and John T. Wolfe.

Mary Poppins, which is based on the stories of P. L. Travers and the Walt Disney film, has original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, a book by Julian Fellowes and new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

"Bert, the jack-of-all trades, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family," according to press notes. "Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes both children and adults alike on many magical and memorable adventures, discovering a world where 'anything can happen if you let it.'"

The creative team also includes associate director and choreographer Jonathan Stahl, musical director Leo Carusone, set designer Steven Loftus, lighting designer Andrew Gmoser, sound designers Jonathan Hatton and Mark Zuckerman, costume designer Derek Lockwood, wig designer Gerard Kelly and production stage manager Victor Lukas with properties by Grumpy Props.
