Kennedy's "Songs of Jason Robert Brown" will be released March 4 on the PS Classics label. On March 16, 23 and 30, she and composer Brown will offer concerts at New York's Triad Theatre. The evenings will include songs from the new recording, which boasts the premiere recordings of three new songs, "And I Will Follow," "Letting Go" and "If I Told You Now." Lauren Kennedy covered the role of Daisy Hilton in the Broadway production of Side Show and also appeared in the New York company of Sunset Boulevard. She starred in the still-Broadway-bound The Rhythm Club and was also a part of the early incarnations of Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years, playing the role that would be played Off-Broadway by Sherie Rene Scott, when Kennedy crossed the Atlantic to star as Nellie Forbush in the National Theatre's revival of South Pacific.

Jason Robert Brown, who is the musical director and arranger for the new musical Urban Cowboy, won the Tony Award for Best Score for his Broadway debut, Parade. His most recent musical, The Last Five Years, played a brief run at Off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre, although the score was preserved on Sh-K-Boom Records with its two-person cast, Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott. Brown also composed the score for Songs for a New World and wrote incidental music for Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, The Waverly Gallery and the Irish Repertory Theatre's production of Long Day's Journey Into Night. Brown recently served as the arranger and musical director for Philip Quast's Divas at the Donmar outing this past August.

The Triad Theatre is located in New York City at 158 West 72nd Street. Reservations may be made by calling (212) 362-2590.
