News Lazer Vaudeville to Play Village Theatre Nov. 16 The national tour of Lazer Vaudeville will be presented at the Everett Civic Auditorium Nov. 16 as part of Washington State's Village Theatre Pied Piper performing arts series.

Created by Carter Brown, Lazer Vaudeville — which has toured since 1987 (including a seven month Off-Broadway engagement) — also features performers Cindy Marvell and Nicholas Flair. The production boasts a seven-foot-tall, fluorescent dragon as the master of ceremonies, as well as chainsaw juggling, lazer illusions and indoor kite flying. "Combining high-tech laser displays, original music, and the spirit of an old time variety show," Lazer Vaudeville, press notes state, "is filled with dazzling juggling, black light illusion, acrobatics, and zany comedy. A cast of fantastical characters take the audience on an educational journey of the imagination as magical illusions are created with laser beams, a neon cowboy kicks up a luminescent rope-spinning display, and a hoop roller demonstrates this endangered art."

Tickets for Laser Vaudeville are available by visiting VillageTheatre.
