Greenidge (Milk Like Sugar, Bossa Nova) authored Luck of the Irish, which concerns an African-American family who may lose their home when an old deal comes back to haunt them. Rebecca Taichman (The Scene, Orlando) will stage the play, which will run Jan. 28-March 10, 2013, at the Claire Tow Theater.

Here's how it's billed: "When an upwardly mobile African-American couple wants to buy a home in an all-white neighborhood of 1950's Boston, they pay a struggling Irish family to 'ghost-buy' a house on their behalf. Fifty years later, the Irish family wants 'their' house back. Moving across two eras, Luck of the Irish, explores racial and social issues and the universal longing for home."

Luck of the Irish will have sets by Mimi Lien, costumes by Oana Botez, lighting by Justin Townsend and sound by Matt Tierney.

Evan Cabnet, who is currently directing The Performers on Broadway, will stage A Kid Like Jake, which will run June 2-July 24, 2013, at the Claire Tow. Pearle's plays also include Bel Canto and Tearin' Up My Heart.

According to LCT3, "Alex and Greg want only the best for their precocious four year-old, Jake. When they apply to New York's elite private schools, part of what makes Jake special – his passion for Cinderella and dress-up – starts to cause concern. The story of a husband and wife trying to do right by their son, A Kid Like Jake explores the unexpected challenges of marriage and parenting in the high-octane, competitive world of Manhattan privilege." Casting for both productions will be announced at a later date.

Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced, about a Pakistani-American lawyer on the rise, will debut Oct. 7 at the Claire Tow Theater. Disgraced premiered in January at Chicago’s American Theatre Company. Kimberly Senior, who also staged the Chicago premiere of the play, will direct the NYC run of Disgraced, which will officially open Oct. 22.
