News Legally Blonde the Musical Heads Out on U.K. Tour; Casting Announced Legally Blonde the Musical, still playing at the West End's Savoy Theatre, is to head out on a concurrent U.K. tour, beginning performances at Liverpool's Empire Theatre July 8 for a run through July 16. The cast is led by Faye Brookes, Iwan Lewis, Liz McClarnon, Neil Toon and Dave Willetts.

Brookes, who will play Elle, has previously been seen in the West End in Grease. Lewis, who will play Emmett, has been seen in Fame and the Donmar Warehouse's production of Passion. McClarnon, who will play Paulette through Sept. 17, is a former member of girl group Atomic Kitchen. Toon, who will play Warner, has been seen in Channel 4's "Hollyoaks" and Les Miserables in the West End, and Dave Willetts, who will play Professor Callaghan, has been seen in the West End in Les Miserables, Phantom of The Opera and Sunset Boulevard. The cast also includes Gemma Baird, Lori Barker, Niamh Bracken, Andrew Gordon-Watkins, Lewis Griffiths, Hannah Grover, Charlotte Harwood, Katie-Marie Hicks, Sophie Isaacs, Nia Jermin, Graham Lappin, Sinead Long, Rhona McGregor, Chris Milford, Zak Nemorin, Andy Rees, Jon Reynolds, Micha Richardson, Amy Ross, Michael Steedon, Barnaby Thompson, Michael Vinsen and Hannah Woolley.

Following its Liverpool stand, the show will tour to Bristol Hippodrome (July 19-Aug. 6), York's Grand Opera House (Aug. 9-20), Glasgow's Theatre Royal (Aug. 23-Sept. 3), Edinburgh Playhouse (Sept. 6-17), Stoke's Regent Theatre (Sept. 20-Oct. 1), Birmingham's New Alexandra Theatre (Oct. 4-15), Manchester's Opera House (Oct. 18-29), Torquay's Princess Theatre (Nov. 8-19), Nottingham's Theatre Royal (Nov. 22-Dec. 3) and Sunderland Empire (Dec. 6-31).
