Running June 9-14, 2008, at the Benedum Center, Pittsburgh is among the latest cities to be added to the national tour of Legally Blonde.
Becky Gulsvig will star as the musical's blonde heroine Elle Woods, who has Harvard ambitions.
Although complete tour casting has not been announced, "Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods" reality contestants Rhiannon Hansen and Lauren Zakrin will tour with the musical. Zakrin, the youngest contestant on the reality show, will understudy Gulsvig, and will also be a member of the ensemble. Hansen will play the role of Margot, Elle's best friend.

Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who made his directorial debut with the musical, will also direct and choreograph the tour.
James Sampliner serves as music director for Legally Blonde, with orchestrations by Christopher Jahnke. The production features scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller and sound design by ACME Sound Partners.
The score includes "Omigod You Guys," "Serious," "What You Want," "Harvard Variations," "Blood in the Water," "Positive, "Ireland," "Chip on My Shoulder," "So Much Better," "Whipped into Shape," "Take It Like a Man," "Bend and Snap," "There! Hal Luftig, Fox Theatricals and Dori Berinstein produce the show on Broadway, in association with MGM Onstage, Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber.
