As previously reported by Playbill.com, Moore left the production to begin filming a movie for television.

Ghebremichael's credits include Broadway's Spamalot, Wicked and Footloose as well as the Off-Broadway hit In the Heights and Lone Star Love.

Ghebremichael joins Elle's trio of girl-power friends: Annaleigh Ashford as Margot and the upcoming star of Harvey Fierstein and John Bucchino's A Catered Affair, Leslie Kritzer, as cheerleader Serena.

The cast for Legally Blonde includes Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods, Christian Borle as Emmett, Orfeh as Paulette, Richard H. Blake as Warner, Kate Shindle as Vivienne, Nikki Snelson as Brooke and Tony Award winner Michael Rupert as Professor Callahan.

Also featured in the company are April Berry, Paul Canaan, Lindsay Chambers, Beth Curry, Tracy Jai Edwards, Amber Efe, Gaelen Gilliland, Jason Gillman, Becky Gulsvig, Rod Harrelson, Manuel Herrera, Natalie Joy Johnson, Andy Karl, Nick Kenkel, Michelle Kittrell, Rusty Mowery, Kevin Pariseau, Matthew Risch, Jason Patrick Sands, Noah Weisberg and Kate Wetherhead.

Legally Blonde has music and lyrics by both Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy: The Musical, Cam Jansen and the Curse of the Emerald Elephant, Sarah, Plain and Tall) and Nell Benjamin (Cam Jansen, Sarah, Plain and Tall, The Mice) and a book by Heather Hach (the film "Freaky Friday"). James Sampliner serves as music director. Orchestrations are by Christopher Jahnke. Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs the production.
