Lemley, who recently toured with Carter Inskeep's Rita Hayworth tribute show The Heat Is On!, co-authored her new show with Jamie Jackson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels). Thom Garvey directs the 8 PM performance.
The cast also features Jamie Jackson, Mike Walsh, Gina Marie Trello and Elaine Hayhurst. A nine-piece band will accompany the performers.
Gotta Get a Gimmick, according to press notes, explores Quinn's life as "an innocent midwestern girl who comes to New York and discovers her gimmick through the world and music of burlesque." Songs include "Hey Big Spender," "Ten Cents a Dance," "Let Me Entertain You," "My Man" and My Heart Belongs to Daddy."
The production has choreography by Jill Gorrie, costumes by Melissa King, orchestrations by Steve Rawlins, vocal arrangements by Phil Hall, musical direction by David Epstein and digital scenic design by Anaitte Vaccario.
