Lena Hall explores the catalog of Tony, Oscar, and Grammy winner Elton John in the third offering of her Obsessed series, which celebrates her favorite bands and musicians with a monthly EP through 2018.

The EP features five tracks from the British chart-topper: “The Bitch Is Back,” “Someone Saved My Life Tonight,” “Take Me to the Pilot,” “Have Mercy on the Criminal,” and “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting.”

The Elton John tribute follows Obsessed: Peter Gabriel and January's tribute to Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Obsessed also features Justin Craig on guitar and keyboards, Matt Duncan on bass, keyboard, and saxophone, and Brian Fishler on drums and percussion. The album cover was designed by Stephanie Layton and photographed by Melisa Hall.

Hall won a Tony for her performance as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She played the role on tour, in addition to stepping into the title role. Her additional Broadway credits include Kinky Boots, Tarzan, and Cats.
