The University of Toronto's Undergraduate Theatre Program is hosting a celebratory and star-studded tribute to Canadian playwright, director and actor Robert Lepage.

On Monday, November 17th, film director Atom Egoyan, opera diva Mary Lou Fallis, actor Martha Henry and directors Bill Glassco and Tomson Highway, will join actor R.H. Thomson and many others in a 90-minute salute to the genius of this Quebecois Wunderkind.

Lepage's work includes the recent opus Seven Streams of River Ota, and he recently made a huge splash as director of the Canadian Opera Company's double bill Erwartung and Bluebeard's Castle, which triumphed subsequently at the Edinburgh Festival. His most recent film was the acclaimed The Confessional.

On Tuesday evening, Lepage will receive and honorary degree from the university.
