News Les Misérables' Final Valjean Releases Solo Recording Randal Keith, who was the final actor to play Jean Valjean in the Broadway company of Les Misérables, has just released his debut solo recording.

Entitled "Life Has Been Good to Me," the 13-track disc features songs from a host of musicals, including Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Chess and Anything Goes. Keith also preserves his second-act Les Miz show-stopper, "Bring Him Home." Produced by Chris Huff, the recording features Matt Clemens on piano, Nick Venden on keyboards, Mark Mulé on drums, Steve Beskrone on bass, Jim Hershman on guitar, Chris Huff on organ, Kaethe Durham on oboe and English horn, Mark O'Kain on bongos, Sue Lerner on cello, Ruth Frazier on viola and Larry Abramowitz and Greg Teperman on violin. Among Randal Keith's major roles are Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, the title role in The Phantom of the Opera, Che in Evita and John Jasper in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Also a concert soloist, he has sung with the Cincinnati, Tulsa and Rochester Symphonies.
