News Les Misérables Will Fill Final Slot in North Shore Season The epic musical Les Misérables, which is currently back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre, will be part of the North Shore Music Theatre's 2007 season.

As previously announced, the season of musicals at the theatre in Beverly, MA, will include Crazy for You (April 24, 2007-May 13), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (May 29-June 17), Disney's High School Musical (July 3-22), The Three Musketeers (Aug. 21-Sept. 9) and Forever Plaid (Sept. 18-Oct. 7). Les Miz — based on Victor Hugo's novel — will conclude the season, playing Oct. 23-Nov. 11. The musical, penned by Claude-Michel Schönberg, Alain Boublil and Herbert Kretzmer, features such tunes as "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Bring Him Home" and "One Day More." This is one of several resident-produced stagings of the show popping up in not-for-profits in the coming year. Cameron Mackintosh personally approved the list of troupes allowed to tackle the epic.

Subscriptions for the 2007 season are now on sale by calling (978) 232-7200 or by visiting www.nsmt.org. Single tickets for all shows will go on sale March 11 (to NSMT donors), March 18 (to NSMT subscribers) and March 25 (to the general public).
