News Les Miz in London: Norm Lewis Joins West End and Nick Jonas Extends; Karimloo Added to Anniversary Concert Broadway's Norm Lewis joined the London company of Les Miserables July 5 at the West End's Queen's Theatre, direct from completing his run in Sondheim on Sondheim on Broadway, and Nick Jonas, currently in the show as Marius, has extended his run for a further two weeks through July 24 due to a recent change in the Jonas Brothers world tour schedule that will now start at a later date.

In addition, Lucie Jones, a U.K "X Factor" finalist, will join the company to play Cosette July 12. Also, Ramin Karimloo (currently playing the role of The Phantom in Love Never Dies at the Adelphi Theatre) and Samantha Barks, who placed third in TV's "I'd Do Anything" contest to play the role of Nancy in Oliver! and is currently making her West End debut as Eponine in Les Miserables, have been newly announced to join the line-up for the Les Miserables 25th anniversary concerts at the 02 Arena Oct. 3.

Lewis has previously played Javert in the Broadway production of Les Miserables. His other Broadway credits include John in Miss Saigon and King Triton in Disney's The Little Mermaid. Jones was a soloist on the "X Factor" charity single "You Are Not Alone" which reached number one in the UK charts. She will soon be seen in “The Sarah Jane Adventures” for the BBC. She was offered the chance to reprise the role of Eponine in the 02 Anniversary concert directly after producer Cameron Mackintosh saw her first public performance at the Queen's.

Karimloo made his West End debut in the London production of Les Miserables, playing Feuilly and understudying the roles of Marius and Enjolras. After a year playing Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre, Ramin returned to Les Miserables, this time taking on the role of Enjolras which he also played at a special performance by invitation of Her Majesty The Queen at Windsor Castle. He then played Chris in the U.K. tour of Miss Saigon, followed by a return to The Phantom of the Opera, this time taking the title role.

In addition to currently appearing in Les Miserables, Barks has also played Sally Bowles in the U.K. tour of Cabaret.

In a press statement, Mackintosh said, "I am delighted to announce that we have now completed the principal casting for the 25th Anniversary concert at The O2. Our latest Eponine at the Queen’s, Samantha Barks, who I first met as a hugely talented finalist in BBCTV’s "I’d Do Anything" search for a Nancy, has proved to be such as success performing with Nick Jonas and Camilla Kerslake, that we just had to have her for the concert. I am very grateful to Andrew Lloyd Webber that he has kindly agreed to let his star of Love Never Dies, Ramin Karimloo take a night off to play Enjolras – a role he had a huge success with several years ago. The public response to the concert has been so amazing the 7 PM concert has already sold out, to meet demand we have now put on sale a 1:30 PM matinee." As previously announced, the concert cast will also include Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Nick Jonas as Marius, Norm Lewis as Javert, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thénardier, Camilla Kerslake as Cosette and the casts of the original production at the Queen’s Theatre, the New 25th Anniversary Production at the Barbican, London and members of the original 1985 London cast.
