Cameron Mackintosh's Les Miserables will make its Welsh debut on July 5, 1998 with an open-air concert performance in the grounds of Cardiff Castle in the Welsh capital.
The production, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care, will be the climax of a fundraising weekend of concerts, ranging from classical favorites to 1960s pop, to mark the charity's 50th anniversary. It will feature a full orchestra, 100-strong choir and a 50-strong ensemble and will conclude with a fireworks display.
Proceeds from the performance will go towards funding Marie Curie Cancer Care's work in Wales. Tickets start from £25.
