"The year is 1995, and Jersey girl Leslie Kritzer is a senior at Livingston High School," according to press notes. "After the crushing blow of not landing the lead in her school's musical, and the dramatic events of her parents' telenovela-like divorce, Leslie abandons her good girl persona and turns from Kritzer to Hyde, unleashing her teenage Jew-rican vengeance upon the town. Drugs! Kleptomania! Pre-marital sex! Playing 30 different characters in a comic tour de force, Beautiful Disaster explores what happens when the shit hits the fan and rebellion meets reality."

A graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Kritzer has appeared on Broadway in Elf, the Musical and Hairspray, as well as in the original casts of Legally Blonde, A Catered Affair and Sondheim on Sondheim. She earned a 2009 Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for her work Off-Broadway in Rooms: A Rock Romance. A Special Achievement MAC Award winner for her show Leslie Kritzer Is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches, Kritzer was Drama Desk-nominated for her performance Off-Broadway in The Great American Trailer Park Musical.
