News Leslie Odom, Jr., Judi Dench and More Board The Orient Express Kenneth Branagh will direct the remake of the classic murder mystery.
Leslie Odom, Jr., who recently departed his Tony-winning role of Aaron Burr in the megahit musical Hamilton, will be part of the cast of the remake of the 1974 film Murder On the Orient Express, according to BBC.com. Odom, Jr. will be seen as Dr. Arbuthnot.

Sir Kenneth Branagh, who will star in the role of detective Hercule Poirot, will also direct. The starry cast also includes Dame Judi Dench (as Princess Dragomiroff), Daisy Ridley (as Mary Debenham), Johnny Depp (as Samuel Ratchett), Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Pena, Sir Derek Jacobi, Tom Bateman and Lucy Boynton. Filming begins in November.

In the murder mystery, according to the BBC, Poirot investigates “the death of a wealthy American on board the titular locomotive.”

The original motion picture, based on Agatha Christie's novel, won Ingrid Bergman an Academy Award for her performance; the cast boasted Albert Finney, Sean Connery, Lauren Bacall John Gielgud and Vanessa Redgrave.

Odom, Jr. has also been seen on Broadway in Rent and Leap of Faith.
