LOS ANGELES -- The local premiere of Mark Medoff's new play about the battle between two scientists over the fate of a gorilla being used in AIDS research will take place Sept. 12 at the Odysssey Theatre. Performances are Wed.- Sat. 8 PM; Sun. 7 PM. The Odyssey is at 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd. Tix are $18.50-$22.50. Call (310) 477-2055.
