The show originally opened in the West End at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Sept. 2012, before transferring to the Savoy Theatre where it played from Jan. 2013 to Feb. 2014, before its inaugural U.K and Ireland tour.
Let it Be showcases the music of The Beatles in a theatrical concert charting the band's meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. It contains over forty of The Beatles’ greatest hits including "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," "Hard Day's Night," "Day Tripper," "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Strawberry Fields," "When I’m 64," "Twist and Shout" and "Get Back."
In a press statement, producer Jamie Hendry has commented, "Now in its third year, Let it Be continues to draw crowds and delight audiences around the world. Its return to the West End for its fourth season is only testament to the huge popularity of The Beatles."
Casting is still to be announced.
