News Levin, Halper, Keller and McGeever Read Moscows of Nantucket at Berkshire Fest Sam Forman's Chekhov-inspired comedy The Moscows of Nantucket launches the Berkshire Theatre Festival's free Friday play reading June 25 on the Unicorn Stage.

Shelby Hibbs directs the 2 PM reading that features Macey Levin, Deann Simmons Halper, Greg Keller, Tim McGeever, Liz Tancredi and Nicole Davis.

According to BTF, "Affluent, anxious and at each other's throats, the Moscows attempt some unusual family bonding over a summer weekend in Nantucket. On the agenda are brisket, booze and a blowout confrontation between competing brothers who’ve avoided each other for years. A fast-paced new American comedy with its heart in Chekhov's country."

The reading series will be presented through Aug. 6. Dedicated to nurturing fresh works, the series enlists members of BTF's directing assistantship program, who work with professional cast members from the festival as well as members of the acting apprenticeship program.
