News Liam Neeson to Appear in "The Hangover 2" Tony and Academy Award nominee Liam Neeson will make a cameo appearance in "The Hangover 2," replacing the previously announced Mel Gibson, according to ew.com.

The film, directed by Todd Phillips and starring Zach Galifinakis, Bradley Cooper and Lend Me a Tenor's Justin Bartha, is set for a May 2011 release.

Neeson received Tony Award nominations for The Crucible and Anna Christie and also appeared on Broadway in The Judas Kiss. An Oscar nominee for "Schindler's List," his other screen credits include "Clash of the Titans," "The Chronicles of Narnia" films, "Batman Begins," "Kinsey," "Love Actually," "Les Miserables," "Michael Collins," "Nell," "Leap of Faith" and "Husbands and Wives," among others.
