News Liev Schreiber Will Star in "Ray Donovan" Showtime Pilot Tony Award winner Liev Schreiber has signed on to star in the Showtime drama pilot "Ray Donovan," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Schreiber will play the title character in the project created by Ann Biderman. Ray Donovan is a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in Los Angeles, and although he solves the problems of others, he is unable to escape from his own.

Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff are executive producers. "Ray Donovan" was one of three new pilots to get the green light under new Showtime entertainment chief David Nevins in August.

Schreiber won the Tony Award in 2005 for his performance in Glengarry Glen Ross, and was nominated for his performances in Talk Radio and A View From the Bridge. He has also been seen on Broadway in In the Summer House and Betrayal. His film and television credits include "Salt," "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "CSI," among others.
