No Child… director Hal Brooks directed the production, which began previews June 26 and officially opened July 9 at the Soho Playhouse. The Soho Playhouse engagement marked the return of Marital Institution, which played 59E59 Theaters last winter to critical acclaim. Penned by NPR contributor Braly, Life in a Marital Institution explores the idiosyncrasies of married life with candor and doses of absurd comedy.

The marriage-themed work has been seen at the Insights & Revelations Performance series and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Deep End Productions produced the Off-Broadway engagement.

The Soho Playhouse is located at 15 Vandam Street in Manhattan. For further information visit www.jamesbraly.com.
